Mø’s No Mythologies to Follow: favorite new album

mø pilgrim glass say you'll be there

Mø, seen lookin’ like a badass up top there, is 25-year-old Karen Marie Ørsted from Denmark. She released her debut album No Mythologies to Follow yesterday (stream from Spotify below, a combination of 808s and horn stabs, energetic ‘hey!’s, Highlife guitar and tropical influences. According to her wiki her moniker means Maiden or Virgin, which also happens to be the name of her breakout release that caught many fans’ ears when it began topping the Hypem charts back in late 2012. I’m not gonna say much more except I really really like it and I like her and her collaboration with Diplo is great and she did a god damn cover of Spice Girls.

Mø – Maiden

Mø – Pilgrim

Mø – Say you’ll be there (Spice Girls cover)

Mø – XXX 88 feat. Diplo

Her album is now available for streaming on Spotify.

P.S.  If you’re wondering how to pronounce her name:

Mø pronounciation No Mythologies to follow
